I’ve been reading people’s comments on this and it’s not surprising that there’s already some backlash against the new design. I can’t blame them, the first impressions are: it’s heavy and noisy. One blog even goes to say that Microsoft have entered the realm of self-parody.

Anche se personalmente sono per il "piuttosto che niente...", Titti Cimmino ha decisamente ragione quando mette in chiaro la differenza tra dati pubblici e dati aperti e punta il dito contro chi in Italia si riempie la bocca dell'espressione "open data" e poi razzola malissimo.

Facebook and Twitter are too easy. Keeping up a decent blog that people actually want to take the time to read, that’s much harder. And it’s the hard stuff that pays off in the end.

Besides, even if they’re very good at hiding the fact, over on Twitter and Facebook, it’s not your content, it’s their content.
